Welcome to the Red Oak ISD Police Department

Our department is open during regular school hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After hours emergencies please dial 911 and local dispatch for Red Oak and Glenn Heights who will contact the on call ROISD Police Officer. Red Oak ISD Police cover all Red Oak ISD properties and has memorandum of understanding agreements for cross-over jurisdictions with Red Oak and Glenn Heights Police Departments. The boundaries of the district include students from Red Oak, Glenn Heights, Ovilla, Oak Leaf, Pecan Hills, and un-incorporated areas of Ellis County. Officers are assigned to respond to calls throughout the district.

Under the command of Chief Scott Lindsey, the department is a full service agency, providing school-based officers, as well as a multitude of services and programs.
